There is a matter concerning my behaviour which I should like to have

cleared up. I have been accused of incivility and of ejecting a

member of the public from the 1.0. To the best of your recollection

have you ever known me to be impolite either to any member of the

public or to the staff?

NO,

I have never. As a matter of fact you havẻ tried to be courteous

and help everybody who comes into the Immigration Office- what I have

seen.

I think you saw me on a number of occasions handing out little tickets

like this bearing numbers?

Yes,I have.

Q. Will you tell the Commission why I did that?

We have already had your explanation of that limiting the

number of persons to be admitted at one time.

Several weeks ago can you tell me whether the office was

crowded or not?

Absolutely crowded, full up.

I went out to in-

I heard some people raising their voices outside.
